Director Engagement Protocols

Asset Turnaround: Reviews operate on a rolling 48-hour window (Mon–Thurs). Assets submitted on Friday will be reviewed by Monday EOD.

Asset Definition: "One Major Asset" is defined as 1 Podcast Episode, 1 Long-form Newsletter/Blog, OR a 'Social Batch' of up to 5 short-form posts. (Max: 2,000 words or 60 mins A/V).

Submission Protocol: All assets must be submitted via email with the subject line "REVIEW: [Title]" to ensure they enter the queue.

Synthesis Call: This session must be booked by the 20th of the month to ensure availability. Unused calls do not roll over.

Refunds: Due to the high-touch nature of this work, spots are non-refundable once the month begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It is substantial but bounded. Think: one podcast episode (audio or script), one launch email sequence, one long-form essay, or a week's worth of social captions (up to 5).

  • The review capacity is "use it or lose it." I cannot offer rollovers (e.g., reviewing two assets next week) because it creates a bottleneck that compromises the quality of my attention. If you don't have an asset to review, we use that space for deeper strategic dialogue in Voxer/Signal.

  • No. The Director tier reserves limited, high-level capacity that cannot be filled last minute. Therefore, spots are non-refundable and cannot be downgraded mid-month. However, if we determine this tier is more than you need, I can apply the difference toward a future month of Strategic Ears plus one Synthesis Session.

  • You cannot separate the voice from the leader. We discuss whatever is impacting your ability to show up with integrity. Sometimes that is a launch sequence; sometimes that is navigating burnout, team dynamics, or your own resistance.

  • No. For the async Voxer/Signal portion, please don't wait until you are polished. The best breakthroughs often come from you sharing the messy, half-formed thought. For Asset Reviews, however, please send drafts that are ready for a "Director's" eye (not rough notes).

  • You will simply email the link (Google Doc, Descript, Canva, etc.) with the subject line "REVIEW." This timestamps your submission for the 48-hour turnaround.

  • Yes. If you have a producer, content manager, or assistant, they can be the one submitting the assets and receiving the feedback to implement.

  • Not at all. I have worked with clients from London to Sydney. My response window is 9 AM – 7 PM ET (New York time). The beauty of async is that we don't need to be awake at the same time to move forward.

  • No, but it is highly recommended. It is a space to zoom out from the specific production details and look at the larger trajectory.
